The insulating coating on the silicon steel sheets is delicate, and the metal material is highly susceptible to moisture and rust; therefore, the entire core must be sealed and wrapped-using waterproof film, moisture-proof bags, and protective cartons-to completely block out rain, fog, and humidity. Transportation must occur in a dry, well-ventilated environment; open-air transport during rain or snow is strictly prohibited. The vehicle cargo bed must be clean, tidy, and free of standing water or oil to prevent moisture damage to the core base, oxidation at contact surfaces, and peeling of the insulating coating, thereby safeguarding the core's appearance and electrical performance from environmental factors.
Throughout the journey, the core must be properly secured, with vibration and impacts strictly controlled to prevent structural deformation or the loosening of laminations. Given the precision of the stacked core structure and its limited resistance to impact and misalignment, the core must be reinforced and immobilized using straps, wooden blocks, and cushioning pads after loading to ensure it does not slide, shift, or bounce during transit. The vehicle should maintain a steady, uniform speed, avoiding abrupt acceleration, braking, or sharp turns to minimize vibration and lamination misalignment. Stacking heavy objects on the core or transporting it alongside sharp, hard equipment is strictly prohibited to prevent edge damage, warping or curling of silicon steel sheets, and widening of lamination gaps-issues that could otherwise lead to excessive noise or increased magnetic leakage during subsequent assembly.
Loading, unloading, and transfer operations must be conducted with care to avoid rough handling that could cause hidden damage. Appropriate lifting equipment must be used; the core's center of gravity should be accurately identified for stable lifting, ensuring vertical movement without uneven loading, diagonal pulling, or heavy impacts upon landing. Manual handling must not involve dragging, throwing, or stacking/crushing, in order to prevent structural deformation and damage to insulating components. After the components have been transported to the site and unloaded, the outer packaging must be promptly removed to allow for a visual reinspection. Check for issues such as deformation, paint loss, rust, or impact damage. Once confirmed to be in good condition, store the items in a dry, level indoor area to ensure that the iron core components remain qualified and intact for subsequent assembly and use.
